Ron

Ron

Ron was found in a basket outside Sainsbury’s on a freezing cold early April morning. He was disabled and struggled to stand with seriously splayed back legs, and again, one of us took him, and his mother and sister and loved them. After several weeks of regular physio, he began to walk, with a gait and a wiggle, but he could finally run and climb and jump and be a kitten. Two and a half years after being found, he began to have fits. It didn’t fit any kind of pattern associated with epilepsy so, just to be sure what we were dealing with, he had a brain scan. Sadly, still a baby, he died under the anaesthetic. Heartbroken, the owner threw herself into rescue as a way of helping with the heartbreak and here we are.
